    Higher PSI is the norm for shipping to or from overseas - for many vehicles.

    Because it’s the Eco level. More fuel efficient: nix the spare, rear wiper, put more air in tires.

    Then I'm super Eco level; 42 PSI in fronts, 41 psi in the rears. But our pavements get very, very hot here, so this is as much about tire cooling (or keeping them cooler) than it is about mileage. The less flex in the sidewalls and tread reduces added heat to the tires.
