Ever considered designing a mini washer / dryer for the prius wheel well? All you need is a cheap electric 110v motor to spin for wash and then for dry. Grey water empties out of car.

When you said wheel well I pictured jacking up the car at one corner and attaching the custom washing machine to the wheel and letting the car spin it. You'd have to turn off traction control, though.

nah, I like going to the laundromat. but... building an A/C system in the rear keeps going through my head, that way when I have the Napier on the back, cold air can circulate and take the heavy lifting from the vehicle a/c unit. its just... its too large of a unit...

Good idea regarding AC cooling attached area to trunk.

You bougie huh?! Jk.. I used the laundromat all the time in nyc. Had it done for me and delivered though. With a washer dryer, I can do more stuff outside and not smell.

It would be ideal to find something to fit the wheel well shape. a beta version for you to consider would be some tube to connect from the front to back. even then, you will prob loose too much cool air as it travels. Sigh.

omg my hand hurts from pulling so tightly on the string. I recommend wearing a glove. I haven't used photoshop in over a decade!

you make "dummy" loops over silver plastic stuff and pull tightly. I need to find a heat gun to help shrink it better like they do when putting on new leather seats.

Side note I think you will find intriguing - im currently in the rabbit hole finding out how to install aftermarket luxury seats into the prius. I need some cooled seats and better back support in my prius/life. If you know anything about how to get modern electric seats, with the fancy functions often controlled via touch screen, to talk to an aftermarket head unit, let me know! The other option is using Katskin, national custom seat maker. They quoted me over $3k for just front two leather heated and vented seats  bro

Yeah thats Katskin for you. but you're paying the service and quality guarantee too. They wont mess anything up. They are a big brand.

Now...sure! plz spill your beans. But I warn you I have a 2010 gen 3, modern aftermarket seats that connect to the car touch computer/screen are difficult.

mine is 2013 and unless I get a company to make a tesla style screen that doesnt block vents and has climate control through the head unit... that would mean seat control as well... but.. dont think thall happen.

    but.. car-parts.com...
I've seen some for less than $200 a seat, w/o cooled/ventilated but LKQ is where Im buying mine!

Hey there! My wife and I just wrapped up a 100 day Prius camping trip! We went from San Diego (where we are from) up the west coast into Canada. We traveled across Canada and the North Us to make it to New England for fall! We have a 2014 Prius with a full size mattress we cut into thirds. We just posted a video touring our setup!

We also posted every leg of the trip exactly what we did and where we camped. We did National Parks, city stealth camping and random boondocking spots. We very rarely paid for accommodations. Fully loaded up and traveling we averaged 41 MPG including running the AC all night with the car in ready mode.

happy travels, hopefully the videos can help out
