Is there a temperature sensor on the auxiliary battery?

I replaced my 2012 Prius C auxiliary battery with a Harbor Freight battery, but didn't see any temperature sensor. Just want to make sure I did't ignore it.

It's thing 9 here. Not really part of the battery, just near it. As long as it's still there and plugged in, it's good.

This diagram is for Prius C, not Prius, right? I don't remember seeing anything with wires attached except the main cables.

I'm sure I missed some more that are similar

As in..I wouldn't buy a double A battery from Harbor Freight, much less something I absolutely need to rely on to make sure my car powers up when needed or when the wife needs it or the kid needs it. But, I try to play it safe for those scenarios. I leave the "ballsy" stuff to others.

Pretty sure Harbor Freight sells tires also.

And that is why one so seldom asks to shed more light on nads of any description.

It is due to the brand, I see...

I was wondering something serious wrong.
