So after the battery drained on 2 consecutive nights, I did the fuse test according to the humble mechanic onyou tube.
The efi2 fuse showed 4.2 draw. Can’t seem to locate the efi relay, and the dealer said the 60a fuseable link is on”back order”
    Anyone else ever have/solve this?

4.2 amp draw just sitting in driveway daum. That'd be like a stereo playing full time a pretty decent one too . No?

    4.2 what ? Amps.....milliamps......big difference.
And what does the 60 amp main fuse have to do with this ???

To answer your response, I believe I may have had the setting on dcv, 20, so now Ill go back and check for ma., and I read on one of the posts that changing out the relay which could be stuck was an option.
I suck at electrical stuff, so its a continuing learning experience for me.

no, believe I ran it across the fuse on dcv 20 and it read 4.2. Going to redo the test later

Agree. This car was a taxi, had all of the hack up wiring still in it for the meter and other electronic stuff for the taxi etc. I was able to remove all of the taxi wiring, testing and checking each circuit. Changed out the EFI2 fuse, and after a day and a half, it didn't lose hardly any voltage. It must have had a circuit attached to the audio though. I now have no radio, lol

The EFI fuse at rest showed 4.2 draw of what amps? milliamps? 4.2 volts?

I think he was doing a mv test across fuses as a way to determine which circuit was responsible for excessive parasitic draw. Then he was shotgunning the circuits. May have got lucky by just cleaning up the old taxi wiring.

rjparker, you are right, exactly what he did! Now to figure out the audio tuner on that center screen!
