I installed similar on my 2016 Corolla S Plus, I had to change out the connector shell it came with (9005) to a H11 type connector and it plugged into the stock foglight harnesses.

The big problem is that these foglights have no cutoffs for limiting high angle glare up above the lowbeam headlight cutoffs. They act like low mounted highbeams. I suppose you are happy with them because you do a fair amount of off-road driving. I am strictly an urban/suburban driver who does not want to be THAT driver who drives around blinding other drivers with glare from too bright lights.

I have yellow vinyl film over them to increase contrast on wet roads, and I like the look of yellow anyway. I reduced the glare by also putting some privacy vinyl film over the main part of the foglights to cut out about 40 percent of the light. In one of the pictures, you can see how the two bright "bars of light" are reduced by the privacy vinyl overlay. It now looks closer in brightness to the OEM lowbeam headlights when on.

I have the outer ring LEDs wired up as DRLs, so most of the time, I am only driving around with DRLs on. I only turn on the "foglights" when it's raining, and the roads are wet.

I don't know the lumen rating, but they are VERY bright. They also, lack any kind of cutoff to limit glare above the lowbeam headlights. As such, they appear to be more like driving lights or low mounted highbeam headlights.

I personally would only use them only if no other drivers were around, like highbeam headlights.

ohhh that's nice and yes, the halo is on DRL to the LED side lights. You have me thinking thought, the yellow would be better for "fog" driving right?

Yes, yellow is the better choice for fog. Less glare and less whiteout effect from white light reflecting back at you off the fog.
