Prius V 2012 Hybrid Battery Beneath Central Console Manual

    Hi Saad from Australia,
    The battery here is located under the centre console between the passenger seat and the driver seat.
    I was wondering if there was a guide/video/manual to service/repair/change the hybrid battery?

    there should be one in the service manual. here, we have access at techinfo.toyota.com, but you may need a different address, idk.

    The site is toyotamanuals.com.au, but as explained on the PriusChat Wiki page, as a result of last year’s change in Australian regulations, Toyota Australia has removed the option for vehicle owners to buy access to the Repair Manual and other service information for hybrid and electric vehicles.

    It’s not clear to me why the Australian government believes anyone will be safer if they’re prevented from reading the information in the manuals about how to do repairs safely, but that’s what they’ve done.

    Yeah, looks like it, any help would be appreciated. I love doing work on my car. I rarely see mechanics. Unfortunately, mostly don't take care of cars the way they should.
