2010 Prius Overheating issue.

Vehicle: 2010 Prius 166k
About a 6 days ago I was getting the overheating symbol and a check Engine light with code p0117, and I was low on coolant. , I of course immediately stopped the vehicle on the shoulder and let it cool down. Replaced the thermostat and ECT sensor and replaced the coolant with fresh Asian vehicle red coolant. First crank I inspected the exhaust to see any white smoke. None. That seemed to fix the issue, I put around 500 miles on this baby 6 days 0 issues. Then I was driving about 60 on the high way and the overheat symbol popped for just a second and disappeared(no CEL), I immediately pulled over and popped the hood to inspect. I found that the coolant reservoir was full. After a day or so, I got my diagnostic tool to try and find the problem myself, i went on a cruise, low rpm for first 5 min no issues. I found that the AC did not get hot up until the engine had reached 225 while stopped on the shoulder of the freeway. I have ordered the Aisin water pump on Amazon and will keep you guys updated if that fixes the issue. If any of you guys can drop some advice I’d appreciate it.

 

Are the Aisin Toyota water pumps not good quality($160)Most reviews and videos they seem to be using that exact one with the Toyota symbol scratched off

If it did have a stop leak product I’d have no clue but I did replace coolant very recently, EGR has never been cleaned in the time that I’ve owned it. Other than that, I change the oil every 3k miles and take care of my cars, guess I’ve just gotten unlucky with this one. Hopefully I can fix it and get 50k more miles out of it
