    According to Motor Illustrated the 2025 RAV4 will ditch the gas-only model and follow Sequoia as hybrid only except with a plug-in as well.

    Probably won't see a pure EV until Lexus launches the all new EV platform.

    So this finally means Canadians will get an electrified RAV4?

    Hoping they'll have their battery supply chain issues straightened out by then. That will hopefully stop the price gouging by thousands over MSRP - when it comes to the plug-in version.

    Most new models usually make it to the dealers by the previous fall or winter.

    Edit: I see this news comes from Australia. Not using the US's wacky model year system, 2025 means it comes out in 2025. Though the source article states it could arrive late 2024. I'd expect it to be released in the US before that.

    Same. I haven’t seen any RAV4 Primes with new plates so there haven’t been any deliveries in a while. Toyota needs to get their battery supply chain fixed.

    I perk up even seeing most recent gen Rav4 Hybrid 'round here; assume they were purchased some time back, before supply completely dried up. The Plug-In version is neck-an-neck with unicorns.
