    I have several blink codes for the abs and (!) so I purchased the repair manual from repair surge. and I am having a hard time finding where in the manual the blink codes are located.

    The manual uses the notation A9999/99 for DTCs that also have blink codes.

    In the above A9999 is the DTC which is formatted as below:
    • A = P (powertrain), C (chassis), B (body), or U (communications);
    • the first 9 = 0, 1, 2, or 3;
    • the remaining 999 = a hexadecimal number.
    followed by:
    • / = delimiter;
    • the last 99 = the blink code.
    If you have a digital copy of the repair manual rather than a hard copy book, then you can search for "/99" to find blink codes.

    Pay attention to the light that blinked the code and make sure that the section where you find a code matches the light that blinked it. This is because there are a few blink codes share across systems.

    There is some other useful information in the wiki here: Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to.

    I hope that helps.

    That looks like a Gen 1 manual. Not sure how useful that will be for a Gen 2. Besides this, the OP already said they have a manual.

    OP reportedly "purchased the repair manual from repair surge". I don't know about repair surge, but sometimes people post that they "purchased the repair manual" when they purchased some Chilton or Bentley book or whatever, and not the actual repair manual. That then leads to confusion in helping them find the information (if it's even in there). It would be tidier if people only said "the repair manual" when they meant the repair manual, but they don't always.

    The excerpt alftoy posted looks like the right one to me. The drawing of the car on page BC-4 looks properly speedbump-shaped. Gen 1 was sedan-shaped.

    That means (key thing!) it does have the three separate trouble code charts: see starting on page BC-50, "DTC chart of ABS", "DTC chart of Enhanced VSC", "DTC chart of ECB" (the ((!)) light).

    It's important to make sure you look up each blink code in the right chart for the light that blinked it. If you get there by searching the PDF for /xx then you should scroll back up to the top of whichever chart you landed in to make sure it's the right one.

    In Gen 1 the brake ECU could only blink codes on one light and there was only one chart.

    It is a different PDF now, seems like the post was edited to upload the correct "excerpt". It was definitely Gen 1 when I first posted.
