    Hi.
    So I'm getting misfire codes.
It seems to misfire cold as it starts going and clears up pretty quickly.
    All Plugs are white.
    No oil use.
    No water use.
Engine starts fine no misfire during first few seconds.

I tried clearing the codes with odb they persist.
    I tried disconnecting the battery.
The codes c0300 c0A00 c0700 are there are there before car even starts.

    I replaced.
    intank fuel pump filter.
Variables valve solenoid and it's under valve cover gasket.
    Crankshaft sensor.

    Any other ideas? Screenshot_2023-03-09-10-18-47-96_2cf3d2482da07279a3fed4b9c55e3454.jpeg Screenshot_2023-03-07-18-11-27-09_2cf3d2482da07279a3fed4b9c55e3454.jpeg Screenshot_2023-02-28-20-06-23-75_2cf3d2482da07279a3fed4b9c55e3454.jpeg

Have you checked throttle body for oil, PVC valve, EGR circuit?

Also how could it give a code without starting the car?

I will take it apart and check. Codes could be coincidence.

In the first few seconds, the engine did not start and run fine. It was just being spun by MG1. Once it started, then the stumble began. If no coolant loss, then it's probably one or more ignition coils.

Wow! Way to pad your statistics. Much faster and easier to make all those comments at once like I'm doing.

Sometimes in the past I would make separate posts if I had separate things to say, and that way if one of those things became relevant in some later thread I would be able to link back to that specific post.

But then there was a time a mod went through and merged a bunch of my separate posts into one, breaking the links back to the individual posts. So now I try to play along and just keep editing my last post if there's no later one from anybody else, even when that means glomming topics together so they are harder to link to later.

I remember that turbulent time. Not sure which mod that was, but it got a little comical/tense lol.

That sounds familiar to me too. One can get carried away in either direction. :D

The beginnings of a head gasket leak might not show coolant loss yet

That is possible. But I'd still check those coils for two reasons. First is that it's so easy and second is that the symptoms fit coils better than head gasket from what I see in the description.

I got access to the coils. I'll check the resistance. But I have seen coils that work that the resistances say they shouldn't.
I do agree it could be coils. But I'm not ruling out anything.
Headgasket usually is good or not good. This here is trying to prevent headgasket from blowing out.

The idea of checking the "resistance" of Prius "coils" came up not long ago, over here.

Because a Prius "coil" is in fact a whole transistorized igniter circuit, there just aren't a lot of reliable conclusions you can draw from a "resistance" measurement of it. The manual has you test them by shuffling them around, taking them out and watching the spark on a spark tester, or replacing with known good ones.

I replaced them with different ones I had.
Resistances were let's say different with the different sets
    I had ngk coils in.
I put back in delfi. I think we're running ok.
Not remembering why I changed them.

    No change with different coils.

I got a set of low mile plugs I'm gonna try tomorrow.
Maybe i should try different injectors after that.
Kinda wondering if the oxygen sensors are at fault for lean conditions.

I've read that c0300 on some cars can mean that. But idk.
