    The basic concept of working together actually makes life easier... We're a social species and depend on each other for almost everything. You can loan wolf it all you want and stay trapped in a box of your own making that you can't get out of, nobody is going to stop you, but it also means far fewer people are going to help you. We aren't competing against each other here and if you think we are, then you will have far less of both collaborators and customers.

    thats the thing never thought of competition, Dr Prius and I have exchanged more than a few emails...you know, his office is a short drive down the back road from my home base. There are just some things that don't need to be known right away. I am one who believes when the snowfall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives. You are channeling your inner assumptions again.

    I could name multiple shops and owners around the country who all talk with me. Just because you aren't in the pack yet, doesn't mean we aren't thriving! my greatest strength isn't being a lone wolf, it's my brothers in the pack... like I said when a concrete solid is in hand, I want all to know how it's done, you think I'm working on this swap just for myself? heh

    I mean just today, figured out the difference between Prius V and non V CVT... its good news for the non V folks!

    Speaking of wolf packs, I'm part of the PriusChat wolf pack and you've taken money from multiple people in our pack while claiming the products were in stock in your online store and they've been waiting for months. I communicated with you several times privately about these concerns. Are they still waiting?

    And you're incredibly talented and do amazing work and if not for this unfulfilled orders issue I'd be promoting all of your products at least weekly and you'd be part of our pack. All it takes is for you to be honest about what's in stock and not in stock and assure us that you didn't take people's money and ignore them while they're waiting for what they paid for to arrive.

    And as I always explain, all these issues can be set aside and I'd 100% for sure support & promote your work once you get right and fulfill your obligations with your PriusChat customers.

    You know, there are many companies who accept payment for products in stock and on backorder. The shopping cart system and its default language are used by hundreds if not thousands of websites. Do you mean to tell me, the Prius owner is the only shopper out of all of these websites who doesn't understand or needs more details on how to interpret a website's current inventory level? You can't place your assumptions into words without any valid facts. Have you been on the backend admin of the shopping cart to see without a shadow of a doubt the process flow or stock count when orders were purchased? I guess I wonder how you know what you speak is fact?

    I feel all it takes is for you and the others to stop placing your expectations of me on me. I am not the one to handhold and coddle with pleasant customer support especially when most voices I speak to, even before the order is made come across as if I owe them something for placing an order when I don't. Have you noticed I'm not begging for you or anyone else to promote? I'm here, laying out my findings, if you want it you do, if not don't continue to take the time to school or reprimand me regarding something you only know about from reading words on a screen. Heh... people say go check xyz FB group for the many people that _____________. Now there is a sticky on this group and it's empty... there is no mass graves of people from your pack.

    What you have are a handful of individuals spewing hate and lies without even being a customer. Heh.. you just don't even know... funny thing is, one loud voice who was a customer and said they wanted a refund after a part didn't fit, sent no images or videos of the part not fitting, then threw the part away... a trailer hitch! Well, turns out, this customer lives a sandwich's throw away from my competitor.... but... I am this bad guy! I still like you though, I know you were misled. It's okay, not your fault!

    I'm not going to read anything more until you simply go back to the thread on here and say all the customers who ordered on that thread have had their products shipped and they received them.

    We've told you multiple times that you can't say something is in stock when its not and then ghost the customers when they ask when its showing up and then get mad at them about how much it hurts your business when they contact their credit card company to do a charge back for something you never shipped them after they waited for more than month.

    which thread are you referencing? the telling part is the vast differences in opinions regarding what I do. On one hand, you have those who wait without doing a chargeback and proudly say they can't wait to voice their opinion while being happy waiting for the product. Then the others who feel their expectations are the end all be all then will turn to attempt at tarnishing something that they wanted so much...

    thinking too basic... the Prime gets more... Id be thrilled at 100 miles and will settle for 50.

    i don't think a prime battery would fit in the pip, it doesn't even fit in a prime :p

    all in fun and learning was just curious how confident you were in those words. I am rendering the 3D models now of both, I thought I had more complete scans than what I found saved. I feel I also had notes with measurements and my memory says they were the same size... that's what lead me down the path of finding the other batteries with the same composure from Toyota that could be used in my battery module(aka CASE) with other cells.

    i doubt the prime modules are much more efficient, seeing that it is twice as many kwh as pip

    for me it wasnt about being more efficient, it was to gaining more kWh. In theory, 8.8 kWh would get a PiP the same ev range as a Prime.

    the same Era hybrid Civic owners won a class action due to the Hybrid battery being programmed to over perform. This overworked battery reliance programming by Honda allowed the Civic to meet Honda's EPA expectations/estimates - but the battery would sooner than anticipated - start losing capacity. Honda told owners they were just driving less efficient than previously. LOL Ultimately the consumers victory was overturned on APPEAL. So the little guy had to take it in the shorts. Hopefully that traction pack programming didn't make it into the insight.

    Yeah... welding together D-cell batteries into sticks is a horrible design... Over at Insight Central there's lots of threads of people who converted to Prius Modules and everything works better and more reliable that way. I've been studying these threads because we have two 2001 Honda Insights were going to do this conversion on and then once the conversion proves stable, we're going to switch out the Prius Modules for Nexcell modules.

    The best thing about working on Honda Hybrids is that very few changes will create warning lights so you can do things like change out the electric motor with a bigger one, as well as build your own battery management hardware, as well as boost engine performance...

    If you try to so much as turn a screw on an engine or electric motor setting on a Prius the dash lights up and the hybrid system shuts down. Hacking a Prius is so incredibly limited compared to hacking a Honda.

    I must have missed it, hmmm.. Well, Ill be installing the CVT parts which allow the PRIME to drive at a higher speed on EV than the PLUGIN on my PLUGIN. It will be interesting to see if the changes I'm making can have a PLUGIN achieve a longer range than the PRIME with this battery larger than the PRIME battery.

    The other feature that's being worked on is the push-and-hold EV button to kick on the ICE indefinitely which charges the HV battery, this was introduced in the PRIME. I just need some other parts to the system.

    Last is the CHAdeMO outlet and all parts for the system, by next week I should know the cost and will have them arrive with the next batch of sun shades. it's my belief that with a 6.6kWh charger and other parts, I should be able to achieve 80% charge in less than an hour easily on an 18.1 battery. This 10.3 should be less than 30 minutes!!! And no @PriusCamper I haven't synced some of my latest findings with Jack... The hope was when Azusa relayed the message our fire would rekindle, we've both clearly had our hands full, but since you say I don't share... information... lol.. yet I have a blog.. where... I share information...
    I figured id share information here now that it pertains to you and Azusa with plugins and this larger capacity battery!.
