Traction control preventing speed over 53 mph

This is an old thread, I know. But was there a solution? I have this on my 2007 after having an accident on the front left wheel.

 

If the left front wheel was recently involved in an accident, then it is very likely to be the source of bad/mismatched rate data causing the traction system grief.

The front left wheel bearing and speed sensor and its wiring ought to be checked out . If any of it was already replaced, that work should be revisited. Not all replacements are as good as the originals.

Thank you @Leadfoot J. McCoalroller I replaced the wheel bearing. Used a brand I have used before without any issues. Cleaned the speed sensor, tested its resistance (1500 OHMS). Wiring looks good but there was this one weird part that was broken in the accident. Under the front left fender. Do you know what this thing is?

 

Google says it is a wireless door lock buzzer so I think it is unrelated!
