and as 32, 34 and 37 year olds (don't know the pejorative) our children all bought homes with interest rates under 4%, and prices are not cheap around here

This chart is very clear regarding who we need to go after to remove the greatest amount of emissions while inconveniencing the fewest number of people. And your example of Russia is a good one... The Russian Oligarchs are having their yachts and other assets seized because of the war, now we just have to ramp that up via a unified global social movement that makes it so... It just a matter of time before all 8 billion of unite just enough to to give the wealthiest among us nowhere to hide:

Today I saw my first Subaru EV, first Ford Truck EV and first Mitsubishi EV all while doing my laundry at the laundromat. Amazing how fast things are changing!

Of course the real change is going to be when they let you change the sound your EV makes plays through it's little speaker so people don't get run over because they can't hear you. Soon as we can upload our own sounds, I'm going for a Tuba solo from a Mariachi band. I bet that will turn some heads for sure!

This is your post the 'troll' was responding too.

The first line is an 'eat the rich' declaration, is 100% political, and had nothing to do with the thread topic.

This is the proper place for this topic on Priuschat.

Same here! 1979 13% assumable that got snaped up upon sale - as interest rates went even way higher above that.

Wealth inequality goes way beyond being political... And I will continue to speak against people who claim that anyone who objects to wealth inequality (which I will do every single day till my last breath) are just easily dismissed as "politicizing" something as if that makes wealth inequality irrelevant are the same people who want to take us back to earlier than the earliest days of the establishment of the first seeds of Democracy in 1215 when the the people won our first victory and forced king John to sign the Magna Carta that for the first time put in writing that the King and his government was not above the law.

And anyone who wants to be like Pope Innocent III and nullify the Magna Carta because it "was just politics" is doing more to put the wealthy above the law and basic human rights than is acceptable. All ya'lls false accusations of "politics" is absurd because at the root, it seeks to nullify 800 years of our fight for basic human rights and democracy all over the world.

So go ahead and tell me more about how the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights is "too political" to discuss and should be banned because wealth inequality is essential to ensure some people always are "above the law."

As a recording studio engineer, I think you're on to something here... Maybe we can work on a EV sound system upgrade? :)

Also, I currently have 4 really itchy, swollen and painful yellow jacket stings I'm dealing with because I did't let them stop me with my obsession to garden everyday. So if you can get "angry bee or hornet" sounds on your speaker I won't walk, I'll run to get out of your way. It will work way better than the horn!

170bB recorded sounds of breaks locked/skidding tires is pretty effective. We added that to one of the EZ-GO golf cart horns at work. Sure got folks attention.

Please move this to the politics forum.

A poster said he wanted to take the top 1000 people, grab all their wealth, and distribute it to get more bevs bought. Awful politics. Not much help for the poor if you force them to take out a loan on a bev. They would just become more poor. If you think saying such an insane idea is good for the world, you need to reconsider implications.

Calling out bad ideas is not going to bat. Please tell me how many people you would sacrifice to go after the head of the wagner group who owns a private army. Putin would probably drop a nuke if you took all his wealth. I don't want to use military force to steal wealth. Maybe you do. Move it to a political forum, there are plenty.

I am not british, but am a student of history. The greeks had democracy well before that. The British stole much of the wealth of poorer nations after the Magna carta. I do belive that the royal family in england committed many crimes after 1215 but no one would prosecute them. I think you should look at your example and see how hollow it is. You want to kill off royal families and get their wealth, well that is a different matter. Will you use it to actually help the poor? How will you do it? I believe the british royal family has around $35B so they are part of your target. Go for it and show us how it goes. They won't even give back all the jewels and artwork they have stolen over the centuries.

Learn some facts, give some realistic proposals. Do it in an appropriate place. If you own a prius you probably have more wealth than most people in the world today where average per capita wealth is $8000.

Calm my friends. As long as we don't throw around political names, it is just water cooler talk.

    Fine, go ahead.
But Priuschat is a private forum with its own set of rules.
One of those rules is political discussions are to be conducted in the politics forum. You, as the non-owner of the site, can't declare a topic to be beyond politics to circumvent that rule.

I think $7500 CDN from gov? Not really paying attention.

fixed an OCR typo in the crown number (and it’s gone now), and the BZ’s are down to 17 (2 sold today).

10 rav4 primes that's good news. Do they still have a huge dealer mark up?

Uh nope. Definitely can argue with them and there are specials but you can get bigger incentives on the XSE. No bargains on the Prius Prime, Prius or any other 1 or 2 count hybrids.

I test drove a Mach E around a bit. It wasn't that impressive. Ford's got a ways to go before they can say that one's worth $60K plus.

I'd previously driven a Model 3. That was nicer and less expensive.

The salesman said that Ford basically made their dealership take these things, and nobody around here is interested. I wonder if that means that they'd go for an offer of $30K?
