I’d think even if Tesla uses battery as structural component it’d be bolted?

As far as I know in a discussion I was watching some elite manufacturers I thought including Tesla in some models were mounting the battery as part of the frame and most of it like just doesn't unbolt I see the videos on rich's and all were they drop batteries. But I think on a couple of the high-end models the batteries don't drop per se but I could be wrong hopefully I'm dead wrong because I would never subscribe to any of that nonsense.

    This is another thing.
When asked, "How much to replace the battery pack?"
I'll ask "When do you replace the batter pack?"
When it has 80% of it's original capacity due to normal degradation? (And how off in the future will this be?)
When it's at 70%? 60%? It would still be a decent car with this situation, correct?

Would you spend thousands to replace your Prius fuel tank if it shrank 20%?

Oh, here's a good one: Gassers have degradation too.

I was just asking approximately what it would cost to replace the battery in a few years I'm not going to change my question to when I'm going to replace the battery I'm going to replace the battery when it goes bad at what general cost That's all I think GM will have this much better under control than Tesla lucid and other manufacturers because well general motors generally knows how to do it. I mean I know electric people I know somebody that could build me twice the size of the battery for my Prius if I wanted it it would stick up well past the tray that goes over the battery right now like buy another 8 in or whatever it is and I've seen batteries that are double the output of our MAH or whatever that is AH for $3,000 of course the shapes and all could be prohibitive The base voltage may not be the same but that's all Jermaine really that can be built any way you want $211 volts 600 volt whatever it is right?

So then, can you describe how to tell "when it goes bad"?(n)

Hint: It will not be "in a few years".....

But you don't want to talk about 'when'.....

Where as, my head gasket will go bad in a few years. Just ask Wendel!;)

No I honestly don't care It took the Prius battery I don't know 14 years I don't know how long it'll take a battery that doesn't have a ice engine to back it up and charge it. And I really don't care I'm just trying to get the idea of cost The Chevrolet versus like boutique manufacturers like Tesla We know their mess is 20,000 25 whatever it is expensive above 13,000 I'm imagining the bolt be about eight and I don't care when I have to spend it hopefully later than sooner but you takes your chances right? I really don't care about the win I was just interested in what it might cost I think there's an article online about it because the first generation of these bolts which I like the bolt don't get me wrong it's a cool vehicle and even affordable if you will I really want one of those little things that looks like the airplane that they keep putting off making It's not practical at all but it's cool as hell looking I can't remember the name of it vector viper or something I have pictures of it all over here I just don't have the name on them with the solar panels on it made out of plane like material very cool. People will be asking where the wings

Yeah we can talk about that all day long how are these Tesla batteries failing in some of these clowns cars and we see them setting them on fire I guess they did that on purpose for likes and clicks okay their battery's really didn't fail they just burn up the car because they wanted to look like they were at their wit's end? Okay. I know there can be a few failures for every few hundred cars or whatever the ratio is like with the vaccinations one in three million could be affected whatever it is I'm not arguing about any of this I just was curious as to what it might cost and that's that But yes please tell me when that will be if you have any calculations or knowledge of the facts would be great I don't really care if I have to afford a battery I guess I can just like I did with my Prius not something I'm looking forward to like putting an engine in a car and anything else like that but if it has to be done and that's what weighs out the best option and that's what we do. I really want to see what Toyota's going to do with the hydrogen business seems very cool e fuels. Seem pretty cool also they could give the ice engine another 30 years possibly I think the EU is looking at revamping their climate goals because of these types of things in the brewing.

Just looking from the number of sale for any BEV, PHEV, or regular hybrid.
You will see the hype and reality. It is not just how many sold but also how many are made.

Even KIA/Hyundai still sell way more ICE than any BEV or hybrid. In EU, almost all Asian brands come as hybrid or mild hybrid. It is true that electrification is everywhere but in the shape of non pure BEV.

Whatever the route, pure BEV is mostly hype. Only VAG that is still producing pure TSI on their lineup in Golf, Polo, or Passat. Others are now have at least mild hybrid 48V system.

The battery failure rate in Leaf, Zoe, and Model S is already very high. Rarely they are usable after 10-12 years. Even Golf-E electrical gremlins are unbearable. We will see the statistics number of the most theoretically reliable Model 3 Tesla. Hopefully better than Model S.

Today, Toyota Germany have 15 years/250 000 km. That's kind of nice if others do the same.

I think what you are trying to say in these two hard to read posts is 'you don't care'.
If you care that people understand what you are saying you can use 'Voice to Text' like this: Say "Period" and "Comma" when appropriate.
What you are posting now takes too long to read bc it's puzzle-like and takes a longer amount of time to get thru the puzzle.

So your position is "Keep Burning FF". "It will be fine..."

Do you have any references for this statement of yours?
Yes Leaf's in hot areas had early degradation of the packs, due to the Leaf's lack of Thermal Management for the pack. And many were replaced under warranty.
That pack was allowed to get to 120° in the Tucson sun.
