Help!!! Strange engine behavior after detailing!

2015 Toyota Prius V

After getting detailed today, my 2015 Prius V started having a problem. The detailer said he used no sprays on anything under the hood, just wiping some plastic stuff down, and also using compressed air to blow dust, etc.
I thought it might be from my ECO button, which gets stuck down regularly, so I took it apart, cleaned all three buttons, reassembled and reinstalled the assembly, and the switch works like new again, so that wasn’t it.


Here's what I’ve got, while sitting in the driveway:

1 – Electric system starts normally

2 – IC engine starts after a delay (usually it’s almost immediate)

3 – IC engine stops after 10 secs, even though A/C and fan are on HIGH

4 – I press accelerator to floor, IC engine restarts, then shuts down again.

5 – Again I press accelerator to floor, IC engine restarts, then shuts down again.

6 – When idling, IC engine revs slow when accelerator pedal depressed.


Car drives almost normally, but IC engine slow to respond to accelerator

1 – After shutoff, high pitched whine/whistle heard near MAF.

2 – No ERROR CODES shown.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks to all for reading, and hopefully saving me a trip to the local dealer's service dept $$$$!

 

Hi there - it is from a cold start, but I have to say that after cleaning with the MAF cleaner, things seem to have gone back to normal, so will probably close this thread for now. The "whistle" is still there, but all is functioning correctly .
