Hi. Was working on a friend's 2008 Prius Touring to replace the left DS wheel well liner and found an obviously broken plug dangling from a wiring harness. Reaching up into an opening into the engine bay, I found another orphan plug that I'm assuming was the dangling plug's mate? See photo. The dangling plug's connector assembly is gone (exposing some contacts and a resistor). Any idea what these are? Thanks.

The round thing with the wires exposed looks like the piezo element that beeps at you when you close the door with the key in, stuff like that.

The other connector, to me, just looks like some other connector.

Ah, thanks - that makes perfect sense. Also noticed I wasn't hearing beeps when I lock/unlock the doors.
