So now that my daughter’s car is creeping up on 200k, it needs some tlc. I have been trying to muddle through without the repair manual, which doesn’t seem to be in print for this car, 2013 Prius C.
There’s also a sad shortage of internet info and video for this car.
This is our first (and maybe last) hybrid vehicle, and is not fun to work on compared with the Corolla that I can do practically all repair and maintenance on easily.
If I had the book I would be more confident.
Anyone know if there’s a repair manual, Haynes or chilton or like that? And How can I get it?
    Thanks!!!

PDF version as well. Gen 2 manual is earliest I've seen, in pdf version, and it well laid out, informative, Gen 3 manual seems on the cust, straddling book and online-only, and suffered some "groin pull".

Wow that’s pretty steep. 25 bucks for 2 days, I guess I will need more printer ink.
Way to go Toyota and technology, bet it costs more in carbon emissions to transmit all that data and I bet most people shelling out that kinda money for 2 days access to info will be printing out as well, no trees saved there.
Not that they make these new cars very home repair friendly anyway.
That’s why my daily driver is a good old 2001 4cylinder with a 5spd transmission. I can bleeping fix it!

I think they're all thus now, all the manufacturers? I use to purchase a paper manual for our Hondas, about $100 CDN per, payed for itself the first time you did the screw/locknut valve tappet adjustment. Having a paper (or decent pdf) edition forced them to be concise and complete. Now it's a mess. Progress.

soooo, it's not a totally crummy system.
I was able to make a fairly complete repair manual (excluding the electrics, i won't ever be touching that bit).
also found a lot of good info, in more detail, on my other car.
good thing it's back to school time, i was able to snag an extra binder, some dividers and hole punchers and get creative making the manual.
it's real spiffy, and it gave me a break from working on the car :)
still think 25 for two days is steep.

Someone cobbled a pdf of the 4th gen manual similarly. I managed to cadge a copy of that.

Cadge a copy of a cobble?

Repair manual PDFs I've seen, when the person doing the cobbling clicked Print to File the right number of times and didn't get bored and miss too much, seem to have come out in the ballpark of eight thousand pages.

I'd kind of hate to see the kind of binder that would go into, or hole puncher up to the task.

Plus, a PDF on a computer or a phone is easier to carry around and way easier to search.

Yeah print-to-pdf is my go-to, say for emails or whatever.

Got registered, non-subscription Acrobat around 2011, very versatile.
