    Hello,
i have Toyota Prius Gen 3
which displays consumption data in MPG but in my country we are using metric system
and it's annoying to converting through google everytime
and i saw that there are also gen 3 which do calculations on metric system
so the question is what i can do to my car to have everything in metric system ?

changin dash? chaning firmware? any manipulations?

That switches only the speedometer between mph and kph. It doesn't change fuel consumption displays.

PS: "Divide the MPG into 235.21. The result will be the converted number of liters per 100 km. So, 24 MPG (US) is equal to 9.8 L/100km"

I cottoned onto this years back, the hard way, did the conversion step-by-step, then started distilling the process down to minimum, ended up with the above. I dropped the trailing one (just used 235.2), and it seems to still be very close.

FWIW, I think Gen 5 will switch fuel economy units as well.

I waited until someone else (you??) mentioned it, then independently verified it.

But I dropped an addition digit, 3 seemed enough for my mental use.
