    Hello All,

My 2005 Prius took a hit from a deer and instead of giving up on it my I’m attempting to rebuild it. Aside from the “put it in park and apply the emergency break on level ground” message. I can’t seam to figure out what one “sensor” is. I’ve attached a picture from a video I found. Anyone know what it is?

Hello and welcome to PriusChat? That could be the widget that makes the "beep" sound when you lock-unlock the car with the remote fob.

As far as the "park the car" message, have you scanned all systems on your car for codes using a capable scantool?

Many scantools can only "talk" to 1 or 2 systems, not the 15-16 on a Gen2 Prius. They report "no codes found" even though they can't really check.

Here's a thread that reviews several scantool apps and devices.

Damn deer, running down the street at 65 mph and smashing poor unsuspecting cars!
