Hello All, our 2013 Prius Plug-in had its ABS, Brake and Traction Control Lights on the dash. I used an OBD2 scanner and found code C1391. Some searches lead to replacing the Brake Booster which the dealership also confirmed. Some videos show that the replacement is pretty simple. The dealership is going to charge $3600+ for replacing the brake booster with master cylinder and brake booster pump, after some searching I am able to get both parts for about $1200 and the dealership can bleed and calibrate for about $800. I am planning to do the replacement myself to save some money. For anyone who many know or has done this replacement do you have any suggestions or pointers.

Thanks, already watched those. Planning to replace parts myself and have a shop in the Bay Area bleed and calibrate. They confirmed they have techstream. Dealership apparently thinks we got free money.

Repair manual recommends a pre repair scan. Might be a good idea to have the shop that is going to do the post repair calibrations, do the pre repair scan and give you that scan report to make it easier for you to follow the repair manual steps.

If the code is C1391, the title of this thread should be changed.

A report to the moderator can get it changed. I've made one.
