Does Master Cylinder Come With Gasket

    I am ordering a master cylinder (47050-47110) from mcgeorgetoyota and wondering if it comes with the gasket (44785-02060). Has anyone ordered this part before?

    I'm also ordering the booster (47070-12020)

    I have changed them twice...... but I had used ones........ somebody probably be along soon...

    The answer is no lol. Just received it today but luckily i ordered the gasket just in case.

    About to undertake this repair myself. Kinda a silly question, but why the gasket? It looks like it connects to the firewall doesn't it?

    Yes, it goes straight to the firewall. I'm not sure if mine even needed replacing, it looked fine but to be safe I'd say do it so you'll know for sure.

    Also, after you do this job and unless you yourself have Techstream, take it to your local dealership and have them do the brake bleeding procedure.

    You need the correct software for this job. I took mine to a "mechanic" who said he'd done this job before but screwed me over because he didn't do it correctly.

    Not entirely sure, I had it at the dealership a few months ago and they didn't say anything about that. I'll have them check next time.
