Cargo Area Foam and Spare Question?

    Hi everyone,
    I just purchased my first Prius after years and years of wanting one. I bought a very clean 2016 two with 102k on it.
    I also test drove a '22 L Eco without the spare.
    Here is my predicament....
    I'm an upright bass player, and I can fit my bass in the Eco on it's side because of the extra depth.
    Has anyone put the foam from a no spare Prius in to lower the floor level? Would it work? It seems there is a lip on the sides that might make it not work well.

    i don't recall ever seeing it done here. have you tried any salvage yards or ebay for cheapo styrofoam bits? might be worth a shot at the right price

    You could always trim it to fit it or just trim the ones you have to lower it a little and save the money.
