Thanks patrick. It was the dome fuse (15 A) located in the engine compartment. Previous to the failure I tried to jump the prius with a bad charger. Thanks a lot.

Hello. This just happened to me. 2005 car with 135k on the clock. Radio says ncon. MFD stuck on audio off. I looked fuses and they seem ok. Other things relying on acc and dome fuse work fine. Could it still be one of those fuses?

Hey James, see if you can disconnect the 12v battery for 10-15 minutes and reset the cars system first just to see if it’s some sort of glitch. Also a good time to check the voltage on that battery. Make sure it’s healthy and strong - when the 12vs get weak, a lot of weird shiz can happen with the prius electrical systems. With the cold months upon us, it could be a possibility. Hope this helps!

Hi. 12v reads 11.8v on the mfd this morning. Tried disconnecting but no joy. I have a trouble code on the LAN of the MFD. 01-05 with sub code 190-8C-F. I cleared it

    1. The power source circuit of the component shown by the sub-code
    2. AVC-LAN circuit between multi-display and component shown by sub-code
    3. The component is shown by the sub-code
    190-8C-F

Sub-code 190 is the radio receiver
8C is the connection check number. I don't know what that is or the significance of it, sorry.
F is the number of times the error occurred, so this error has occurred 16 or more times.
