I clearly stated that none are competitive yet. Certain individuals simply never want to set realistic expectations. And countless times I have pointed out... making the claim of vague utter nonsense... that true competition is on the showroom floor.

That's why GM's hope for Blazer & Equinox was got so hyped. There was blatant resistance to addressing what really mattered. Delay brought about excuses & downplay. That's normal. Enthusiasts thrive on rhetoric. It becomes more though when a stop-sale happens.

Think about what is to come next. Best case scenario, GM would have a long backlog of orders to fill. That equates selling lots & lots of guzzlers in the meantime. What kind of transition plan was that?

Instead, there is now the same backlash feed we saw in the past from GM. Something goes wrong with their rollout and the entire industry takes a hit... in large part due to the "over promise, under deliver" problem.

No. You originally stated that the bzx4 wasn't competitive with anything on the market. Full stop.

As to this 'none are competitive' BS you've cooked up to save face, Kia/Hyundai, VW, BMW, Tesla, and others may want a word.

Nope... and why are you still making it about me rather than address expectations?

Again, what should expect now from GM for Blazer (and Equinox) EV ?

it's not what we expect with any manufacturers, it's what we hope for.

You brought up improvements to the bzx4 in this very thread? Why did you bring it up?

    Setting expectations!

That is what Toyota had planned. They told us a year ago there would be some to follow. It's playing out like the expectations they set.

So I'm asking the same about GM by providing context. Remember, the whole not being vague thing. It's on-topic too. I wasn't the one who brought up wheels or hydrogen.

You should have answered the question I had asked then:

"Again, what should expect now from GM for Blazer (and Equinox) EV ?"

    Now is your opportunity...

They planned an electric SUV that had wheels that fell off? With a range that was suboar at best? Where the more expensive trim charges slower than the cheaper trim?

    Bold move.

Was that the soon to be released solid state battery? Or some other "over promise"
That's exactly the point being made above. All manufacturers optimistically hope their products will work perfect - right out of the box - Ergo we don't throw rocks in glass houses
Expect the same thing as when any other manufacturer has issues. They go back to the drawing board and figure out why it didn't work - right out of the box. It might be the actual product (ah la Chrysler spontaneous battery fires) or - it might be the fickled buyers (ah la entire Scion lineup)

ya like early? There's always Havana - where most cars neither have AC nor seat belts nor smog devives nor steering linkage on a flexible cable leaving it to go right through your chest in an accident. Yaaa - those we're the days .....

Most thought the follow-up would be getting rid of e-tnga platform as an ev & make a true ev platform -

Toyota May Overhaul Electric Vehicle Strategy To Rival Tesla As EV Adoption Beat Forecasts | Carscoops

so that toyo can build it more affordably ... not just dorking around w/ software like gm is now stuck doing.

As is well known ..... every manufacturer has their faux pas moment(s). Both companies will get it right eventually

Personnally, I expect all companies to have the occasional error.
I expect when an error occurs, the company will fix it.
I expect errors caused by the company to be paid for by the company.
    Edit*****
I also expect them to do this promptly
    *******Edit

I HOPE that companies will see the wisdom, compassion and need to move to supporting ZEVs and/or moving to mass transit.
I HOPE that companies that don't, at least won't try to slow down progress.
I HOPE that X will go bust and Elon becomes a recluse who no longer gives interviews or social media posts.

To start with can you do a side-by-side compare of all the features on the phone apps of Tesla vs Bz4x?

Then what? That interface is only a small part of the vehicle's total software.

Keep in mind, that is where audience differs. An enthusiast wants far more bells & whistles than a mainstream consumer. That's why the chest-pounding here fails to address what happens on the showroom floor.

On the subject of Blazer and updates, were any of the stop-sale problems even related to the phone app?

Toyota's global output surges to record in November on strong demand (msn.com)

Surprised no one has mentioned Toyota Lexus's outstanding lineup of Electrified vehicles and strong lineup of current and future EV's - some that are being manufactured in the USA with batteries that will come from the USA plant,

Toyota is just fine and the bZ4x is receiving significant upgrades as we would expect. As far as phone apps both our current cars have them available but we don't use them- the last thing I want to do is play around with the phone before I get in the car.

Also going for a walk today I noticed the sky wasn't falling and indeed Toyota is doing gangbusters well!

Hope GM has similar success with the Blazer - good EV's and manufacturing EV success is good for the selection and downward price pressure on EV vehicles, it helps everyone and will bring EV ownership closer for all who so desire it.
