I saw the most special car on the road today - our old 2005 Prius!!! Made its way to a different jurisdiction but still within the province. When we traded it in 7 years ago, it had 245,000km.

Spotted a red Porsche 944 for the second time on my commute.
    Porsche 944 - Wikipedia
Looks like it had more ground clearance than many SUVs. Possibly lifted for rally racing.

Porsche snobs turn their noses up even towards 911 targas. When you start talking 914's or 944's? Prepare to notice a frown
    ;)
That said - should ANYONE see an original 959 porsche, then you can truly say you saw something special. There are probably more fake ones out there in the United States then there are real ones. 50 or so

I saw not one but TWO matching mid-80s Pontiac 6000 Station Wagons. May or may not have been running, they were decorated as advertising for a local business.

    But they had plates...

Yeah it fits a lot of people's purposes in the sports car world. Snobbery is a weird thing. For people that couldn't afford the real 911 - Porsche Manufacturing accommodated those folks that were short on cash with a 912 offering. Pretty much a poor man's 911. It was fitted with a 4 banger ICE & many of the 2000vowners would simply remove the 912 stigma molding off the back so no snobby folks would know the difference - other than the missing molding.
    ;)

I always thought those were the perfect apology for the proportions of the early SC430. Nice cars!
