What do you all suggest for the best place to order new formats?

Honestly... I'd love to (re) format most aspects of my life. Starting with adding a few more digits to my bank accounts. :)

What I use is inexpensive memory foam bath mats from Ross Dress for Less. Lots of colors to choose from and super comfy when you take your shoes off for long drives... :) They handle moisture well and are fairly easy to scrub clean or wash in a washing machine.

If it's for Gen3, I think I still have unused carpet floor mat that came with the car somewhere. You can have it free, but I'm afraid shipping cost will be more than buying one eBay or any other place.

+1 for WeatherTech. black_jmyntrn, just curious if you can share any feedback on why those are better? It looks like they just go further up the back side under the pedals.

Weathertech always seems to make the car look dirty since they are impossible to keep looking clean. I bought a set of cheap $40 ones and they are good enough. They don't quite match the color of the car but at least they look clean.

Weathertech are the best ones. A lot of copies are out there, and they may be good enough.
I have the fronts and trunk matts and they cover the whole area very nicely.
They are easy to remove and clean off and reinstall.

Mine are black, so the don't match, but I don't care. They are VERY easy to clean.
A brush and water is all you need.

I like Husky Liners (2 colors). If they don’t make custom sized ones I try Weather Tech (3 colors). If they both don’t make custom size I end up buying Introtech Hexomats.

Max spider was/is popular on the Alfa Romeo Giulia forums as they made custom mats for that limited application. We had a Giulia from 2018 - 2019 (when we got into an accident that totaled it). It was a lease so I didn’t buy custom mats for it.

They are industrial and IMO more for work trucks and have no sense of style while just looking generic. They just remind me of something my grandpa would have in his old truck.

    the above is facts.

watch this... it'll backup my statement, particularly because I can say I've owned both where as I find it odd for something to give much high remarks to one product and they've never seen another. These videos I linked t the perfect start time...

When I had my escalade, I didn't even bother with the weathertech as they had no look of luxury or quality... no style! haha, I guess some folks like bland floormatts just like un seasoned chicken...

hahaha, if you watch those videos and can still say weathertech is the best, then that just lets me know your opinion cannot be trusted.

Thank you for your suggestion of the 3D mats. I have been in the market for replacement mats for a while and was set on getting weathertech based on everyone's opinion of "they are the best". I don't doubt weathertech are great for protecting the floors/carpet, but I wasn't a super fan of the appearance of them. When I saw how they looked in one of my relative's vehicle, I began searching again and came across your post here. They just looked like were filthy the moment anything got on them and looked like they belonged in a construction worker's vehicle.

I did a little of my own research on the 3D brand and decided to give them a go. I got the Kagu style mats and absolutely love how they look and feel.
Here is how it looks after a little dirt is on it.

Looks like dirt will really collect in the tiny squares and will be hard to clean.
    What did they cost?

My 3 year old already managed to dump a happy meal in the back and the salt from the fries and tiny onion slivers from the hamburger vacuumed up with ease.
They describe it as "Waterproof and Easy to Clean
With its carbon fiber embossed pattern and non-slip rubber surface layer, it effectively protects the vehicle's interior."
On their website they demo a guy removing them and hosing off the dirt, so I imagine if you get mud or such, it would be easy to clean just the same.
The mat ordering options are $103 for front, $78 for back row, or $180 for both.

Well, you can see the dirt specks collected....
The main purpose is to protect the carpet, and make clean up easier...

That picture is where I have not cleaned my front mat and was to just show how the pattern was
I suppose I'll check in when I do clean it once it is a bit more dirty to see how easily and well it comes clean.

I bought my Husky Weatherbeaters last week and I am happy with the way they look and fit.

I got the front and rear mats and just in time for all the wet weather. 20240208_100458.jpeg

hahaha you just looking for something to say negative about them arent you? hahahaha

Most welcome! What I do to clean, water hose or the coin car wash pressure washer then a few sprays of 303 Automotive Protectant they look good as new!

I think you might have chosen the ugly option because those look horrendous!
