Cost analysis 2024 Prius Hybrid vs Prime - 6000 miles yearly

The regular Camry gets decent economy on the highway but much less so in town driving so if most of your driving is short trips you'll be WAY better off with the Hybrid.

 

You can certainly score better MPG per trip, but if your total annual mileage doesn't add up to much then you can get into a situation where you paid too much to the dealer to save too little at the pump- you wind up losing out over the life of the vehicle.

This is why I encourage everyone to do the math for themselves.
