Ultrasonic cleaner

So got a second hand ultrasonic cleaner on offer up, wanted to tinker with cleaning carbon deposits, recently got a 2006 prius at an auction and am doing a bit of a budget build, this is just a side quest, pulled the plugs to inspect had some ngk coppers, for the sake of budget was gonna use them for a bit, so I said ok lemme clean them up with the ultrasonic since they're all hyped up rn, links show the progress, luckily I did get a ultrasonic cleaner with a heater function which I think made a difference but I didn't let it heat up properly first :^(

It's not big it's like 6x5x5 maybe like a 1.5L

 

So I had seen this video and finally got around to trying it out, water, vinigar, LA's totally awesome, however I didn't have the yellow one, I had some that was purple I think it's just supposed to be a stronger version not sure since the lable is half gone did 3oz vinigar 3oz awesome and 18oz water

I did get some flash rust so I'm thinking the awesome was too strong I wanna try the Yellow one on the next set because I have a set of iridium from my current prius somewhere lost in the garage

These will be going into my budget replacement as my current 05 prius has already survived a 18 wheeler accident and is about to join the 300K miles club I gotta be ready if she goes down

Silver replacement up front minor body scrapes
Brownie in the back with wacked out fender and ripped up quarter panel

 

I did spray them down with wd 40 to prevent flash rusting

 

Seems like the mean green combo doesn't flash rust if you dry them off real good

Couldn't find the before but these ac delcos came out of a 2014 chevy sonic turbo, that needed valve cover gasket and coil replaced the coil had already melted away these did look way worse before now they look pretty average worn down considering it's a turbo car

 

I was really tired lol
