Dr Prius app for toyota crown ?

    It'd be nice if models known NOT to be compatible with the app were also listed in the paragrah
    Dr. Prius supported vehicle model on the prius app page
    Since there is no definitive answer, I'm asking here: Are toyota crowns supported? Specifically the 2.5 litre model from 2013 (Fourteenth generation Royal Saloon).

    Unless it’s the 2023 - 2024 Crown then no. You can see if the Lexus GS 300h is included which is the same generation as your 2013 Crown hybrid but the closest I saw was the GS 450h. You can try the GS 450h and see if some of the PIDs are what you’re looking for.

    Thank you. Aren't the PIDs the same for all Toyotas? Like does the PID for Hybrid battery and cell status vary from model to model?

    Yes and No. You have to make sure they are using the same battery and possibly the same motor. Lithium Ion batteries would of course have different values for PIDs than their Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH). You'd probably have a heart attack if you saw your 30 kW motor using 35 kW when in reality the motor's PID was for 40 kW. Dramatic over simplification but you get the idea.

    Just to confirm Dr Prius seems to work for the crown s210 and we can see the status of all the cells.
