I have had a few people asking to buy my Prius. It has 178k miles and still gets 53mpg (UK gallons). When I look at Autotrader I can see similar being offered for anything from £2k to £4.5k. We buy any car offered £1.4k. I am in London so its a positive factor that it meets the Ultra low Emission Zone (ULEZ) requirements. It has a new Toyota Cat and a Toyota Cat lok fitted - which vibrates occasionally. It was serviced and MOT tested in December by an AA recommended garage - no problems reported. I am tempted to get a Rav4 or CH-R but on the other hand - I could just drive this into the ground as it does work perfectly well. Assuming I decide to sell, what is a reasonable price to ask. I guess the downside is that its colour is bronze and according to my son in law that makes it an old mans car - but thats what I am! I am the second owner and bought it with 12k miles on it round about 2012

do you have kelly blue book or something like it? here in the states, the value is based on location. some markets are hotter than others. cities usually more expensive than rural.
