Hello everyone! I was wondering if 18inch wheels with an offset of 35, a width of 8J and 225/40 tires will rub inside the wheel arches when the car is fully loaded. I plan to keep the original springs. Thanks!

That's exactly why I was asking in this specific thread about wheels on Gen4 Prius

"Just sayin" that is a fairly detailed set of conditions and the tolerances are going to be close without extra weight. Is there a standardized weight limit for the Prius? 1000 lbs / 450 kg ? Would the extra weight be passengers, all in the cargo area, or some other configuration or weight distribution?
I hope you get lucky and someone else has already done what you're asking about and it has worked for their Gen 4.

Hi everyone ! I finally found what I was looking for

A set of 18x8j ET35 wheels (RIAL "Lugano", very similar to Volkswagen "Interlagos" rims). They are second hand but in good condition, and are mounted with 235/40R18 winter tires that will soon be replaced with summer tires with proper dimensions (though I'm happy to announce that 235/40 tires don't rub).

If OP is still interested, I'm about to replace the stock OEM + Hubcap combination on my recently acquired 2018 Four with 2018 BRZ wheels. They have the same lug spacing and default tire size as the touring package [IMG] and I'll just use a bore spacer. Pics to follow tomorrow!

Here you go, BRZ/Toyota 86 wheels. I forgot that you have to use an 8mm spacer to get the wheels to clear the callipers. you also need to change lug nuts. prius new wheels.jpg

Question, was 8mm the absolute minimum one could go for with spacers?

    I'm going with some 2013 BRZ/86 wheels (17x7, 5x100, +48).

I'm hoping to get a 5mm spacer but haven't measured if that'd be enough to clear the calipers.
