ok so i’ve got the same vsc, !, abs lights commonly displayed (however not the emergency brake light that i see commonly associated together) . what’s that mean? they also come n go with some randomness. i got
    ABS: 13 & 54
    VSC: 13 & 45
    !: 64 & 25

it’s really hard to keep track of three lights at once so let me know if any of those numbers make no sense.

It might help to use your phone to record a video of the blinks. You could just replay it as much as you need to get the counts.

Have you looked at your wheels to make sure all the sensors are connected the wires aren't broken and the plugs are plugged in that goes a long way The rears you can't see anything except the plug going into the back of the hub bearing generally if the bearings are reasonably quiet if you jack up a wheel in the back and they spin without making a racket usually the electronics are working and they're plugged up and not usually damaged but the fronts can be left undone and be flapping in the breeze and get broken wires get twisted and broken I see him all the time I used to have a floor full of used ones to replace broken ones that I would see regularly I don't know the blink codes at all so I don't know what you're seeing but not having the brake light on over there on the far left tells me that probably something else is going on but I don't know that He probably should grab you an AP200 scanner It's the best $55 you'll ever spend

mr_guy_mann gets credit for finding it/pointing it out.

Apparently the AP200 can read every system on a Prius.

I bought a similar model, the AP2500E, and it definitely read everything in our car, specifically including ABS. It was super helpful when I had a problem with a rear wheel bearing.

Can the 2500 bleed the brakes? I have it here I haven't tried to use it like that I have the Toyota download and the app for it. But I didn't think it could bleed the brakes. And still sitting here in the glove box that's the red and black thing the 200 is all white and takes a different app

Yeah mine sitting in the glove box It was actually purchased by a mistake It's open and I have the app and the different AP200 app on the same device I have brought up the window to bleed the brakes with the 200 but not tried it with the 2500 I sent it back the $2,500 that is it was going to send it back and they just told me to keep it and credit the account anyway.

There is no subscription for the first vehicle brand you select. So if you buy the AP200 and set it up with Toyota, that's it. No more costs.

If you want any additional brands, then you have to pay an annual subscription for each brand. (FYI, autel considers Scion and Lexus to be separate brands from Toyota - $$).

But it looks like it'll do everything on the Scion and Lexus unless it's an all by itself model I do believe I'm fixing to find out.

What are you saying Gino? The AP200 does all of the stuff that most people have trouble with especially the brake bleeding The AP2500 does not matter of fact I'm giving that to my daughter so she can at least have a good code scanner she has no reason to be bleeding anything so I'm not sure what you're disappointed in the AP200 does it bang up job for the $55 or $58 it is You select Toyota and you're good with most Toyota models up to the point where you purchased the AP200. And you don't have to do anything shove it in turn on the app and that's that You don't have to go get a separate computer do anything Just thinking being your glove box your pocket whatever so that's a pretty big deal apparently the only one similar possibly a little better but has a subscription fee is the carista but I don't have it and have it personally tried it I imagine it's like 50 bucks similar to the AP200 but they charge a fee but then you could just turn on the subscription for a month every so often when you needed it or whatever or not It still would be a capable code scanner and all of that even if the subscription was not in good standing I'm pretty sure most coming down the pipeline now are all bidirectional capable it's just what the software that they pick up or license or use can do like bleeding brakes reading codes isn't a thing anymore if your scanner can't do that to pretty much all cars then well it'll be pretty much trash so all the new scanners coming down the pipeline now can at least scan the car and get the codes if they can do nothing else and they can be as cheap as $25 but at least you'll get your codes from you know however many computers are in the car

I believe that's the AP app the 2500 app looks different. But you must also have the 109 MB download after you select Toyota so you'll have three downloads sitting on your phone I have to open the mess to look but one is a basic scanner or the scan tool itself One is a Toyota file and the other one is a demo file I think imagine you could delete the demo if you were so inclined most people might want to keep the full scanner OBD2 software there because if they want to scan other things it's still the bi-directional very capable scanner whether you use any of the Toyota tools or the brand selected tools like bleeding brakes or whatever that's a personal problem that's a choice. So I'm not sure what the beef is that's all I'm trying to understand to me it's a well spent 56 or so dollars without having to go round up tablets and software and VCI cables and all of that which makes sense I've been wondering why all of these years of hubbub with VCI cables that are supposedly made to j standards but everybody just changes the j standard at the drop of a hat because somebody feels like it and some office seriously?

Are you in another country or something Gino let's get that out of the way I guess first.? I'm in the USA I didn't have to buy squat I bought the device online on Amazon for $56 if I'm not mistaken The minute I cut it out of the blister pack All I had to do was load up the max AP app it goes with the Max scanner and other things in the Max series of a u t e l stuff. And then I had to make an account login to set account select the Toyota business as my primary download the Toyota 109 MB file that's right over here on the screen and that works with the AP app the max app right above that I have the 2500 app because I still have that stupid thing
