Took me a bit to find the right connectors. These will allow you to create an extension cable that you can put between the OEM wiring harness and some of the dash buttons (like on the left side for automatic headlights). This would allow you to tap their 12v and/or ground or whatever you wish to intercept without modifying the factory wiring harness.

I will not advocate where to buy them but to buy a male and female with pins and with shipping it cost me about $5. Not bad.

There are slight variations of these connectors which are not compatible but these seem to fit exactly.

For me I'll be using these to tap the 12v for the button lights that come on with headlights to some custom buttons I've put in for other functions.

Have you run any wires from the cabin to the engine bay by chance?

I'm not sure if you're aware but I tried finding a replacement for the blank switch on the upper left row in my SE but it seems to only fit the fog light dial switch and not any of the standard add ones. All the others are standard.

    That calls for a 3D printer ;)

    Should be part # 5553942070C1 I believe

The fog light dial is a different size than all the other buttons though.

I've tried 3D printing a few inserts to try and convert it to a normal switch size but my designing skills are lacking and I couldn't find any pre-made model.

Yes, I was just mentioning the fog light dial in case anyone ever reads this. I only have 2 blanks and wanted to get switches for them. I learned the hard way it's a different size than all the other ones.
