    What caused the lower production?

    Sales softened this year as some of Tesla models lost any fed rebates.
    EV sales continue to grow, but not at the breakneck speed they were growing by.

    Tesla built up inventory in the first quarter, so they cut production in order to trim that inventory.

    nah, i'm in for the long haul. makes it more interesting since i don't have a tesla yet. my 74 year old life long gear head brother just leased a model y, full self driving, he is thrilled with it.

    Long and diversified.

    It will go the other way from time to time. That is why both diversity and time length are important. Start early, because many of us are already getting too old for good starts to long games.
