    Hello,

New member here. Guess I need to create some posts before I can start commenting.

Have been keeping up to date on Strawbrad's post regarding heavy duty spring upgrade in 2nd generation. Ordered Toyota Matrix AWD suspension parts for my upgrade last week. Will update with post when I start the spring replacement.

Nice, can you share the link of where you bought, what you bought and how much it cost?

I read all the threads on here and then found this great price of $99 for a Toyota Corrolla front sway bar kit: Front Suspension Sway Bar w/ Bushing Kit for Toyota Corolla 03-19 Matrix Pontiac | eBay but haven't installed it, nor have I figured out what, if anything, I'm going to put in back of car.

Hey Camp....I saw a video on youtube recently where a guy got the rear swaybar from a Corrolla/Matrix/Vibe and installed on his Gen 2. Looked like the corrolla sway bar was only 1mm larger diameter, but it was solid steel instead of a tube and looked to have much heavier duty ends. He also pulled a front sway bar (may have been from a corrolla but I think it may have been a matrix or vibe that was a direct bolt in and was about 5 mm larger diameter.

Yea... I don't remember as clear as I like but before making that purchase a few months back after going through some really old thread on here there was a problem with I think too much oversteer if you do the rear and not the front or even if you do both front and rear, but just right if you only do the front.

But maybe I'm not remembering correctly?

What are your thoughts on suspension stiffening creating too much oversteer or understeer as relates to daily driving in city with occasional freeway?
