I bought this oil catch can kit .....

    What parts do I actually need that air filter looking thing see attached looks more like a motor cycle air filter and I honestly got like at least 234k on my engine but a fairly new cat which I would like to last for ten years lol. So please let me know what I need to use

    What makes you think you need an "oil catch can"?

    Because the 2nd gen is notorious for carbon build up in the intake and the valves coming through the PCV valve
    That's why, one of the 1st things I did 59k miles ago was clean the throttle plate it was black at about 166k miles now there are over 234k miles on it

    If you think that's bad, you should see the junk that comes out of a Gen 3. Even on my current Gen 4, the can is full every oil change.
