Then why the O² Sensor spacer? Why were we not supposed to ask? Sorry to assume the worse, but the subject of 'no cat' came up....

 

If not mistaken, they were acquired along the way on my drive to Alaska.. I couldn't figure out(shouldn't tested the plug) why I kept throwing O2 sensor DTCs figured one of them might fix it for me. it didn't.. 20-22mpg the entire drive up there was painful.. hence.. don't ask.. I didn't want to relive that memory.

 

Wow, sounds like an awesome trip!, except for the fuel economy.
What was the problem and how did it get fixed?

I'm tooling up for a car camp trip to South Padre Island soon. Hoping my old '10 Prius w/150k mi hangs in there...

 

Not until my accident and i noticed a section of the wire harness charred... did the memory of the harness as it wraps over and behind the eng/cvt looking uhhhh not like OEM. Thus the accident caused a lot of electricity to short out right there... right on the harness as it connects to the O2. smdh
