TPMS sensors 215 65 15 tyres

    As you know the green car from the tow lot that we got has been lifted 1.7 in or 40 mm so we fitted the new 215 65 15 tyres. While I was at it I had already ordered some of the cheap $24 supposedly made by Pacific tire sensors they arrived installed them in the wheels they look just like the factory except they don't have the green label and they don't have the little door on the back of them for the battery these are just open like a lot of the later models are. Installed all four of them . Logged them in tpms light off. The bigger tires raise the car up about another inch looks like I have about 6 in clearance under the car now easy to get in and out of that's for sure we'll see what happens to the gas mileage The tire seemingly are running me about 3 mi over the speed limit not too bad.

    Is this based on GPS, because my OEM 195/65r15, the speedometer was showing 2+mph faster than actual distance traveled - according to both my Garmin and Samsung Phone using google maps.

    No Garmin anymorejust Waze and google.looks like about 3 mph so far. No hi way runs yet.
