    Saw a Corvette ERay on display at the GM Dream Cruise exhibit. I'll get a closer look at it tomorrow. Too many cars from
    every era to list on Woodward. Lots of noise and HCs in the air. (I live 1/2 block from it). I spent many Saturdays up and down that strip in a '63 Chevy and a '67 Chevelle SS back in the '60s. But it was never as big as this annual event has become.

    Ohh I was at a car show last weekend that showcased everything from trucks to exotics to EVs.

    There were 3 Shelby Cobras (not familiar with the years but 2 of them had the double fixed rollover hoops and 1 had a single rollover hoop), Mustang GT500H, a pair of 2000s Sevilles, 458, Gallardo Superleggera, a modified Volvo 240 wagon, JDM RX-7, Pontiac G8, the new Land Cruiser etc

    I realized I haven't seen my beautiful white smoke bomb in a few weeks. I see her on the drive home from work, usually.

    It's an early 2000's Toyota Avalon that's white but, also, emits a huge cloud of white smoke...especially when taking off at a stop light....VERY blown head gasket or cracked engine for sure!

    Saw the new ZDX EV. Only noticed it because it had an illuminated white line on the grille area. The proportions look weird for an Acura. Looks fine as a Blazer.

    Today a trip to Kansas City, which means a brief chance to check out all the cool international jets parked at the airport there. You never know what you'll see. I'm not sure if it's just a storage contract or a maintenance deal or what, but there are always a crazy number of jets parked here.

    I'm in another rented Malibu this week.

    I had a few good choices in the lot today- a Camry, a Jetta, an Accord, a few Nissans, 5 Malibus (I chose a color I liked)

    Gotta admit, GM really got this one right. Sad to know that they're ending these soon. They're a great car, plenty of room without the hulky-bulky crossover/SUV feeling to them.

    I'm in Texas with yet another Malibu this week. I almost got stuck with an Altima but they restocked a pair of Malibus right in front of me.

    A little aside: I wonder about the CVTs in these cars... I can tell the difference between one with 10k miles and one with 50k miles, very noticeable difference in "the grab" as you open the throttle while already rolling.

    Anyway the odd car sighting was a Toyota Highlander. In the breakdown lane, abandoned, with the hood up.

    I don't think I'd ever seen one broken down before.

    They are both fugly in their own ways though.
    Maybe they just popped the stainless panels and glued on plastic ones.

    Went up to Alaska.... saw a lot of 1G LEAFs... counted at least 6 in Sitka with one 2G LEAF.

    Also saw this in Juneau (along with a few more LEAFs)
