Hi guys, I had an accident a few days ago where came too fast off the highway (realized it was my stop too late) and drifted past the on/off road till I smashed my driver door against a concrete post . I drove my car to class after that and drove home 75km (50mi) around 5 hours later. I thought I got lucky in that the car still ran, but the next day when I turned the car on, I got the death triangle on the heads up display and an orange square on the upper left of the touch screen with an exclamation mark in front of a car on the touch screen. And while the car runs in hybrid-only mode, the engine won't start. My obd sensor showed error code P0a75 (and p0138, but i don't think that's directly relevant) which is described as "Generator Phase W Current has been detected".

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing the problem and what I might do to fix it? Or any tests i can do with a multimeter to narrow down my problem source?
I saw another thread here which dealt with the same death triangle and exclamation in front of car symbols ( Exclamation Mark , problem , no error messages | Page 2 | PriusChat ) and there was a loose wire. I'm guessing maybe when i tried open the front door after i got home i pulled a wire somewhere maybe? The HV seems to be working since it moves the car.

    Thanks all!
(pics of everything i mentioned and the pic on right show how the door doesn't close properly at the top)

So then the car will not ready now You can't get the display to show the word ready so of course it's not going to run I'm guessing or you're getting ready mode and no engine start then a good code reader should give you the codes for engine failed to start The code that you do have one of them is something to do with the possibly airbag wire shorted maybe I don't know what kind of displays you have lit up besides the red car on the MFD You got orange lights on the dash If your car readys is your inverter pump running that's right behind the driver side headlight is that pancake pump for the inverter?

You need to get a copy of the factory service manual (you can find a pdf download with google, or get a short term subscription to Toyota TIS). In the Hybrid Vehicle Control section it has tests for this code (if the wiring between the inverter and hybrid control ecu tests good, then replace the inverter assembly).

The hybrid system uses motor 2 to directly power the front wheels. It uses (motor) generator 1 to start the engine (ICE) and then charge the HV battery.

If the ecu can't monitor the motor-generator current, then it won't try to use it (& no ICE operation).

So do not ready the car up or drive until repaired, as this will discharge the HV pack very quickly)

You are wrong. The hybrid system does not work.
This is indicated by the indicator on the dashboard and on the monitor panel.
How did you read the errors from the car? A program? A scanner?
