Don't tempt me. But in all honesty, I am with you on this...this guy has no idea how "quick" these cars can be. I roll raced a newer 5.7 Vette getting on the freeway few months ago with just ShiftPower on, he couldn't get past me until I let off at 90mph. Very mad and foaming at the mouth like our friend here.

She has the 2024, 2.5T AWD 8 speed auto. Not the fastest or quickest in the world, but relatively quick. It will bang through the gears and plant you in the seat more than I ever imagined an SUV could, and it's not nearly as powerful as some out there. I'd say it would have a pretty good chance. I'll probably never get the chance to actually run it because she hates it when I rag her cars out.

A WRX (stock) and a decent driver can run a high 13, low 14 quarter. The only way your car is going to beat a properly running wrx is if the driver is completely incompetent, he was busy choking because he was laughing so hard, or his car was chained to an anchor.

There's an awful lot of internet racers who think they have a 12/13 second car when in reality its 16/17/18/19/20. There are literally 10s of thousands if not 100s of thousands of knuckleheads that buy a bunch of "upgrades" because they believe everything they read and think it's going to give them a 12 second car. You have a fast prius? Want to prove it? Post a video that shows the car going down a track and the ET display at the end of the track.

Tracks and timeslips have a way of introducing reality.

It's times like this I sorta wish PriusChat had an escrow service. Just put the $10k in, both members could go to a convenient local track and come back with a timeslip, submit those, and the money gets sent the right place.
