HID to LED conversion... worthwhile?

    Which do you find are brighter?

    Anything you wish you'd known before you did it or advise to someone considering it?

    I looked at lots of LEDs. I did not want to want crazy bright (but illegal) lights, did not want to have 4 loud little LED fans running and did not want to spend a fortune.
    I got BEAMTECH LEDs H11 from Amazon and installed the low beams. The BEAMTECH have a big square heat sink on the end which make them easy to maneuver and twist into place.
    Now I am all LED in front because I replaced the high beams with BEAMTECH (two years ago). Back in 2022 I took out the headlight housing to replace the little driving lights above the high beams. If you remove the housings from front the fender you can do high beam, low beam, and DRL at same time. The BEAMTECH may be not best but but they were powerful, easy to install and relativity cheap.

    By the way if you replace the rear license plate lamps with little LEDs you not have any more "burnt out" license plate lights.
