Dear Concern Greetings! This is Sayem and I am from Bangladesh. I am using a Prius 2018 S Safety Plus car since July 2023. Before, delivering the car, Importer increased the ground clearance of my Prius in front wheel by 1 inch and rear wheel 1.5 inch. Using two different height body clearance is illogical to me. Because that change the aerodynamic shape of my car which ultimately affect the car performance. On the other hand, in Bangladesh there are so many speeds bump/breaker to reduce the speed of the car. As the ground clearance of the prius is less thus it also necessary to increase the ground clearance. I would like to increase even clearance in my both wheels (Using 1 inch in both wheel). Will it be a good decision for me? Need expert opinion. Thank you Sayem
Ive just replaced the front splash and front bumper cover on a new to me 2016 Prius base. I’m also concerned about clearance especially up front .. I also will be towing and have used Firestone coil rites ( air bags ) that fit inside the rear coil springs. These don’t give consistent height as they fluctuate inconsistently. My main concern is the front. Prius off road offers a solution of 1.5” on top of the front suspension and recommend an alignment following installation. It requires some know how and labor. Idk for myself I’m looking for a cheaper alternative… as I don’t off road - maybe a nice skid plate? For parking and mild dips?
