As things continue to get more and more humiliating for Trump, it's conceivable that in a moment of dementia, he may order an invasion of Canada, promulgating his goal of making us his "51st state."

I'm not worried; first of all, I'm sure we can rely on NATO to come to our strong defense, they really hate America since Trump, and secondly, I doubt that some US military have much of a heart for invading a friendly neighbor. Some of them are probably diehard MAGAs, but they are the stupid ones, so not much of a threat.

Ukraine proved that a small country can stand up to a bully 10 times it's size, and I think we can. At any rate, I'm too old to be drafted, but a short period of occupation might be something interesting to write home about.

Trump will likely get another WWiii started outside our borders long before it comes to NA.

I too am too damn old and too many health problems to be in a war either but that hasn’t stopped Russia and other governments from throwing old men into the grinder.

been tempted to move to the most remote and least tactically important part of the world and stay there until these guys burn through resources and self destruct.

In another 10 years the cancer may have burned itself out and I could then return to rebuild and see what’s left.

LILLEY: The Liberals put Canada in this mess, not Trump | Toronto Sun
"A decade of Liberal mismanagement is why we have rising unemployment, a broken immigration system and unaffordable housing"

You Don't Realize How Doomed Canada Is
"Canada does not have an economy. We have one of the largest land masses in the world, but we have catastrophic levels of productivity. With only 40 million people, we no longer have enough labour to service our national debt. Canada's national debt is nearing two trillion and we now pay more per capita to service the interest payments than what is sustainable. This explains every political party's obsession with mass immigration. It's a quick fix for what has been a decades-long spiral into oblivion. However, as the cost of housing continues to rise, immigration will cease to remain a viable solution."

Canada is falling behind its peers in terms of living standards — can it catch up?
"This palpable downturn begs two urgent questions: what underlies this fall in living standards? And what can be done to stop, and perhaps even reverse, this unsettling trend?"

Highly doubt USA attempt to take Canada.

But, let us say the USA gets into an unpopular foreign morass. Say the USA bumps up Selective Service -- think of the late 1960s era -- only with selectees ages 16-65.

    Canada's population problem solved?;)

It's hard to believe anyone wastes even a second of their time worrying about this. Even Canadians are letting Trump live in their head 24/7?

There's plenty to do in life. Start doing those things and embrace living. Let go of the Trump hate before you have a brain bleed. It is what it is for the next few years. I can't believe how many people worry about stuff they have no control over.

    OK...
so....the forum is officially now UNmoderated?

    Nice! :)

As I have stated too many times JUST this morning, TRUMP's superpower is making...um....."some people" act like.........TRUMP!

Let's put our adult hats on and think about this critically.
WHY would the US WANT to invade Canada or make it our 53rd state??!!
IF this were a WISE thing to do DC and PR would have beaten you to it before now.
Canada has 10 provinces...and three territories.
The most conservative Canadian province (Alberta) is about as 'conservative' as the US state of California.
    We already HAVE California!!!

The US has already invaded VeetNam, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
One would think that by now we would have already learned the lesson of invading nations whose occupation were not worth the effort - but I get it!

    You can always hope, right?

    My advice:
Get permission to go down into the FHOP_P dungeon.
If you're not aware of what this is then my suspicions are correct and you're not much of a rules follower...

    I'll even sponsor your membership!!
    (you deserve it!)

    Hurry!!!
    Time is of the essence.

Somebody will soon run crying to the forum moderators because they are butt-sore - and this thread will be cast into the outer darkness.
I wouldn't want you to miss it!!! ;)

I like how people have told me ah don’t worry that will never happen and then it does.

In his defense EVERYTHING Trump has ever said and project 2025 has been systematically getting ticked off one by one, item by item, even if unsuccessful. You can be a frog not noticing it’s boiling or be like 100,000 wealthy republicans who are in the process of leaving the country.
Big brain and wealth drain happening as we speak. Maybe those folks know something we don’t?

Courts can no longer easily block illegal executive orders without a class action, so the sucking will likely accelerate as the roving finger points at each and every point made in the last 12 years

Are you thinking perhaps of the way the soundbites from his party's members of congress so often start out like relax. He's not going to do that. He speaks off the cuff sometimes. Seriously but not literally. He's the strongest defender of our Constitution and laws so that's not going to happen. ... right up until he does it ... then instantly become of course he did it. He said he would, and he keeps his promises, and I applaud it as the right thing to do. I never said anything different.?

Next time I have a show to put on, I wanna hire their choreographer.

    Another post without comment.
Any refuting the claims of post #13 and #14, or do you only got diversion?
