Not sure if this is the right group… I just got a 2025 Prius Plug In and didn’t see a specific group for that model. I just traded up from my 2007 Prius to the 2025. I’m very excited to charge it from my solar, but apparently it doesn’t come with a basic cable? Is the dealer trying to nickel and dime me?
It should come with a lvl 1 EVSE (charger) included. Is it in the cargo area? Perhaps under the cargo tray?
Yes, it should have one. And this is the right area. Toyota switched the Prime name in 2025 to what they've been using in Japan and Europe.
My sales guy handed it to me directly while handing the car over. He gave the plug to me while handing over the manuals and the other miscellaneous stuff. Included a picture of the plug as given to me, mostly (there was some protective bags and thin foam i think around the plugs). Oh, hmmm, I took pic of it on top of my hood/bonnet so yeah there was a big reflection of the shelf of our garage so ignore that big black thing thats just a reflection of some garbage bags, raid, and whatever else and wandering inquiring mind would be curious to know about a guy's garage. No beer guys. Sorry, thats in my fridge already.
