I have a 2025 Prius plug-in hybrid. How do I see MPG on the dashboard while driving, I was able to do that when I had a 2020 prime.
My 2024 Gen 5 Prius Prime did that for a while after the 5K maintenance service. It displayed MPG and MPKW on the dash next to the speedo. I screwed that up in some setting. Have never been able to get it back. I don't know if it was per trip, per tank of gas or a longer term MPG or MP KWH. I would like to have that info back displayed on my dash also.
Search through the menus with the steering controls. You'll find a display for the left panel of the instrument display. IMO it's a crappy MPG display so I don't have it on constantly. I don't know what kind of drugs the Toyota engineers were doing when they dreamed up and "organized" these various displays. But I'm thinking the drugs are way more powerful in Japan then we have here. IMO the 2025's displays are inferior to my previous 2019 Prius Prime Advanced.
On the gen5 you can get that data in either flavor. Use the main odometer for lifetime mpg or use tripA or tripB for calculated mog per tank full or whenever you reset them. Note: you can also rezero the lifetime mpg on the main odometer too. I did that accidentally by leaning on the trip button too long and some reported that it rezeroed when the battery was replaced.
