I bought the wiring harness to transplant a 2020 Prius stereo in my 2018 so i can get apple carplay. Ill be going to the junk yard tomorrow to get the head unit. My question is this. Will a highlander/corolla stereo work in a Prius? they look like the same head unit, but i know the Priuses have the battery and eco pages. Hoping they have one from a 2020 or newer Prius and I don't have to worry about it, but if all they have are highlanders or corollas would this be a compatible swap?
Love to know how this works out as my 2016 ATP got stripped of apps with toyota continually stripping them off one by one,
