Seat Back Protectors for Gen5 2024 Prius LE

Hey there, I know toyota sells all weather mats for the trunk and that comes with the "back of the rear seat" protection, so when you fold the back seats, you basically have one giant weatherproof mat covering your entire back. Cheers!

 

i also have the all weather floor and cargo liners package and the cargo liner portion didn't cover the backs of the rear fold down seats.

 

I ordered Part # PT908-47235-20 for mine.

are these the rubber trunk liners for the 5th gen prius? the big mat is not of the same shape as what i see with mine.

 

That would be a mat for the raised floor, level with the folded rear seats. If you have an LE, you have the lower floor. A search suggests the part you need for the LE is #PT908-47236-20.

The 47235 should be good for everything else - XLE, Limited, SE, XSE, XSE+.

 

Actually, maybe not. 47235 has the backs, 47236 doesn't, according to these fitting instructions. You can see the LE-shaped mat, anyway.

I can't find anything else though. So there may not be a seat-back-protecting option for the LE - quite possible, given that it isn't a flat load-through.

I'm confused what the high deck and low deck ultimately mean for the fit. Has anyone done this for an LE?

 

It means they're not compatible with each other. The liner for a low deck won't work in a high deck car and vice versa. Well, they'll work badly, but it will be a really poor fit.

I guess you could use the seat back pieces from the high deck kit along with a low deck liner. That would work, though you'd effectively be buying two liners.

 

Oh I see the difference in shape of the main piece now. It was hard to check stuff on a phone. I mean seems worth it to buy it still. ~$100 down to keep the back of the rear seats from being shredded up and stained. Happened in my other car.

I think I figured out that the seat back protectors for the high deck would be too short for the low deck.
You'd think there'd be a product that fits the LE, but I haven't found one yet.

 

Pretty sure the seat back protectors for the rear seat are the same for all trims and even for right hand drive and left hand drive.

 

Let me correct myself. Part number 08241-47250 for second-seat back is longer. I have both the rubber seat back covers and 08241-47250 Genuine Toyota Luggage Soft Tray for Second-Seat Back and the soft tray for second seat back is longer. Here is a picture.

 

Let me correct myself again. Found the manual that came with the seat back covers and translated it. The part number for the low deck is 08241-47240.

I'd be looking for rubber and not soft material for the low deck rear seat back protectors.

 

I don't see any rubber ones that are specifically for the low deck. The 5th generation Prius came out in 2022 in Japan they have many more accessories not yet available on us shopping sites. The rear seat as far as I can tell is the same in RHD and LHD Prii so you most likely will not have to worry about getting something that is not compatible with LHD North American models. I would search Japanese shopping sites such as:
