it goes from the boat (probably near you) to the dealer. toyota does that and it can't be changed.
you can call a car delivery service for pricing

BTW, ChatGPT is not helpful in looking for a car. I asked it to find one with a solar charging roof. It sent me links to ones it "found". None of the links worked. Do any of the other AI bots work better for that?

(Explanation- I have kept looking a little in case that blue one doesn't arrive, or doesn't actually have the solar charging roof. Also, I would prefer closer to me, and would prefer red or white over the blue,) (Yet blue much preferable to me than black, gray, or metallic.) (But ChatGPT has been no help at all.)

Question again about the wheels? Is there any advantage to the larger wheels? And has anyone been able to get a dealer to downgrade to the smaller wheels to get more electric range?

Were you able to find one? I am also looking for a Prime with solar roof. My current circumstances would benefit from it quite well and being in the sunniest state in the U.S I think it will be used quite a bit.

The solar roof can only generate less than 200W of power under the best of circumstances; do the math - it's gimmicky at best. IMHO
A gen4 will go 3-4 miles on a KwH; how long will that 200W panel take to generate that? It's not like you park the car in the sun for an hour and your entire battery will be recharged - that's from watching too much Sci fi.

Like those "power conditioners" they sell online, and only contain one LED.

Those "best of circumstances" might only be about 3 hours a day, under full overhead sunlight.
