Sway Bar End Link R&R Question

    I was fiddling around under my 2008 today, prepping to replace the sway bar end links this weekend, going over what I may need to get the job done and inspecting for anything unexpected. I have a right-angle impact wrench available to me to get the old ones off fairly easily that fits really well everywhere I need to work - and so does my torque wrench. I started thinking that if I can reach everything well by just turning the wheels while on the ground on a level surface...

    Could I reasonably remove and replace the end links without even lifting the car off the ground?

    Make sure you have the Allen key that fits inside the stud at connection point . Look wer nut is attached . Very lil penetrant if needed .

    Not sure how much space you have to work with with the wheels still attached but there will be tension on the sway bar unless both wheels are off the ground or the car is sitting on level ground. I replaced the end links when I replaced the front struts. The upper joint connected to the strut points outward and the lower attached to the sway bar faces inward. I had some difficulty torquing the nut and used a crowsfoot on a torque wrench.
